I don’t usually use our newsletter to discuss personal activity, but I wanted to share with you my eagerly anticipated journey this June to work in Jerusalem at a dental clinic for underprivileged children. I will be donating my time at the DVI Clinic which provides free dental care to children in need from ages 5 to 18. Many of the recipients of care are either Palestinians or immigrants from such places as Ethiopia or Russia.

The clinic is not affiliated with the government and relies on private donations and volunteer dentists from around the world in order  to improve the lives of thousands of children.

I will be attending the clinic for one week but will hopefully participate in the program on a regular basis in the future. In our next newsletter I will be reporting back on the experience.
